  • 1st animation attempt, subtle Zarya idle animation

Wasnt sure if this would be ok to post but after seeing the "two girls animation" thread I hope it'll be fine.

I made this from a picture I drew some time ago (Zarya from Overwatch) as it seemed like a good one to practice on.

GfyCat Link because I cant figure out how to embed it in the thread: https://fat.gfycat.com/WaterloggedHugeCony.webm

I did intend to try and do some 3D effect but that is a bit beyond me I think for now.

One question, is there a way to separate the dopesheet from the window to a second screen?

Also, I love seeing other peoples creations for inspiration, but it seems hard to navigate the forums as replies send posts back to the top (sort by most views/replies/datecreated could help with this).

This is excellent for a first try! No worries about the content's nature, art is art. We'd only be a bit concerned if it was outright porn.

Currently, we don't support having the dopesheet in a second window. The way most people deal with this is simply stretching the entire Spine window across two screens. Obviously that may be a problem if your screens aren't of the same resolution.

I'll see if I can enable some sorting options in the forum!

I think that's a great suggestion too!

Thank you very much! I was amazed how quick it was to do the actual animation, preparing the image for animation took me longer.

I can work with that, my screens are the same size and resolution.

Excellent thank you, if I may suggest another thing similar, if there were a way to show when an original thread maker adds to or updates a post, developers could keep running threads about a project and users could follow their favourites, like a mini blog just for spine animators and it shows more of what spine is capable of. But I'm not a web developer so I'm not sure how hard any of this is to implement.

Yeah I was so used to this feature on other websites I was clicking the headers for "replies" and "views" thinking there was something wrong with my browser.

We use PHPBB for the forum software, so whatever it offers we can likely enable. Modifying PHPBB itself is likely not going to happen. We'll see what we can do! While there aren't direct notifications, you can post in a thread and everytime you then click on "More -> Show Unread Posts" you will have an asterisk next to the threads you posted in if there was a reply (not necessarily by the OP).
