I have the same issue with flipped bones and moving them with image compensation switched on.
What happens is:
I created a bone and duplicated it, flipped the copy bone with the "Flip X" checkbox. (both bones have images attached)
now when you try to adjust the bone with "Image Compensate" ON, it seems, that the compensate function doesn't consider the flip x checkbox and still compensates, but now in the wrong direction, which looks like a double transformation: meaning, the image moves double the amount of the bone now.
I hope I could explain the issues somehow clear 🙂
I made a forum search, but I am not sure if this is know already or a minor usability bug.
But it would be nice if this can get fixed in the next update!
