This has probably been noticed by others but the latest version (2.0.23 Professional) seems to ALWAYS default exports to the Spine install folder. The repro is pretty straightforward.
1: Open Spine
- Export
100% of the time it will default to the installed directory regardless of where you opened the Spine file from. As I recall....
- If you created a new Spine project that was automatically the export directory for that project. You could reconfigure the export directory on the first export and Spine would remember it when you re-opened that same project. This does not happen anymore.
- If you opened an old Spine project it would remember where the last exported directory for THAT project was and start you there. It does not do that at the moment.
- from Export to Export in the SAME session Spine would remember the export directory. It does not do this now. Each export totally reset to the Spine default folder.
The way it works now is actually a pretty minor thing in terms of PROGRAM performance but a freaking pain in the @$$ in terms of actual productivity. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
If this can be addressed that would be marvy. Right now I am constantly re-directing the exports. Perhaps it's user error but I dunno.
