Added PNG Extension When Importing

Using the "import data" and using the .json file rendered out in PS with the "LayersToPNG" script, many of the layers in my project do not appear.

Refreshing the image folder, the images still did not appear.

I then noticed that the images that were not visible had randomly had .png added to the end of the file name, (both as the image file in Spine, as well as the slot) despite this not being the case in either the PS file, or in the image file itself.

Anyone else have this experience? Any solves out there?

Where did you get the script?
Try this attached script. I think it's an older version but it works fine.

I used the script that came with Spine. I am creating another new file, and the same thing has happened (see attached):

It randomly assigns files with the end ".png", which I have to then remove by hand, file by file in Spine.

Thoughts?

Can you try the latest LayersToPNG.jsx file? I updated it yesterday. You can find the latest here:

If you still have a problem, please post the JSON file that the LayersToPNG script created.

While should never happen in the first place, a tip for removing the ".png" junk is to use Find and Replace (button in the top of the tree), find ".png", and replace with nothing.
