Spine Software freezing/not responding annoying bug

:bang: :bang: :bang: This bug has proved to be extremely frustrating to me . It makes me loose my progress and each time I have to restart Spine by force closing it .

The bug is easy to reproduce and occurs each time .

Steps for making the bug eat your progress :

Go to animate mode.
select any bone.
Instead of pressing space bar to deselect everything , press left Alt key .
Spine freezes !!!!

This is damn annoying . This is not expected from a software worth $ 250 :broken: .

My System Specs :
Windows 8

I have a Dell inspiron 15 and a Sony Vaio flip series laptop . The bug is occuring on both of them so it is universal .

Spine version 19.0.1

Are you sure it's not just locking the alt key, have you tried pressing it again. There is an error with lwjgl so the alt key causes some issues, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it at this moment, but we want to eventually see if we can fix it.

It is locking everything . Nothing can be done after that .

If I read that correctly are you saying that it only happens when you press the alt key?? If so wouldn't not pressing it be a solution?? (unless you're saying this is one of the ways to get it to freeze?? )

Yeah pressing left alt key leads to the freeze, but as you know it is the key right next to space bar . I use space bar very often while using spine . And many times alt key gets pressed accidentally

I wonder what's causing this. Would you happen to have any programs that do keyboard-related stuff? like Autohotkey? Or some kind of special keyboard macro manager? (Just shooting in the dark here.)

We've finally got a fix for the ALT issue! This is great because it allows us to use ALT as a modifier for the tools. The fix will be in an upcoming Spine version, see the change log for exactly when.
