CDO Hmm, I think I understand your request, but if you just want to shift all the keyframes, you can select all of them by pressing Ctrl+A

on Mac) and then click and move them. I don't feel that the current behavior is particularly cumbersome. Ctrl+A
is a hotkey that selects everything based on the currently active view, so I suspect you might not have noticed that it works in the dopesheet view. If that's the case, try clicking on the dopesheet view to make it the active view, then press the hotkey. It might be a bit subtle, but when you click on a view, a white underline appears next to the view name. That's the active view:

At the moment, we don’t have plans to add a hotkey for this specific action, and we haven’t received similar requests so far.
