To restore the prompt for resizing images in Spine, you can reset the preferences to default settings. This will re-enable the dialog that asks what to do when an image is resized. Here are the steps to reset Spine to default settings:

  1. Close Spine if it is currently open.
  2. Navigate to the Spine settings directory. You can find this directory by opening Spine, going to the settings, and clicking the folder icon next to the settings directory.
  3. Locate and delete the prefs.json file in the settings directory. This file stores your preferences, including the "never ask again" setting.
  4. Restart Spine. The preferences will be reset, and you should see the prompt again when resizing images.

If you need more detailed instructions on how to find the settings directory, you can refer to the Settings - Spine User Guide.

Thank you, but I can only see folder icons related to backup, hotkeys and log, nothing to go to settings directory

update - I reinstalled Spine again and now it seems to work - but only in newer versions, as for 3.6.53, which is required for my work files - I still don`t have that option.
